Heather Bradbury comes to MICA with over 15 years experience in the fields of creative and educational project management. Most recently, Heather held the position of Communications Specialist at the Maryland State Department of Education, Office of the State Superintendent. Before that, she worked as a grants and education coordinator at the Space Telescope Science Institute (Home of Hubble Space Telescope) and co-owned Balance-the Salon, an award-winning hair salon and photo gallery, where she was instrumental in the business model, branding concept, and salon design. Heather has additional experience working in the fields of architecture/interior design, engineering, catering, and production pottery. Heather's background and broad professional experience provide her with a unique perspective as she embarks on her newest venture, Manager of MICA's new Masters of Professional Studies in the Business of Art and Design.
Heather holds a B.A. in English Literature and an M.A. in Publication Design from the University of Baltimore.
