Dorothy Valakos, B.A. Oberlin College, M.F.A. Mt Royal School of Art, MICA, is an artist and educator with 15 years experience teaching in a variety of settings. Most recently she worked for ten years at the Baltimore Museum of Art, where she designed programs and interpretive materials for diverse and non-traditional audiences, including families and children. A painter and printmaker, she is the recipient of an Individual Artist Award from the Maryland State Arts Council and has exhibited widely in the region.
