Colleen Asper

Adjunct Faculty – General Fine Arts

Colleen Asper received her BFA from the Maryland Institute College of Art in 2002, her MFA from Yale University in 2004, and attended Skowhegan in the summer of 2006. She is a recipient of a Maryland State Grant, the Helen Winternitz Award, and the Jacob K. Javitz Fellowship. Her work has been shown internationally, including Deitch Projects, P.P.O.W., and Alona Kagan Gallery in New York. In addition to being reviewed in such publications as the New York Times, the New Yorker, Time Out New York, and Time Out Chicago, she is also a regular contributor to Beautiful/Decay magazine. Colleen lives and works in Brooklyn, New York.
