Christina P. Day is a Sculptor and Textile-based instructor and teaches at both UArts in Philadelphia, PA and MICA in Baltimore, MD. She holds an MFA in Fiber from the Cranbrook Academy of Art and a BFA in Crafts/Fibers from the University of the Arts. Her architectural and surface based material work has been shown both nationally and internationally. She has articles she has written that have also been published in both Architecture & Ideas (Carleton University) and Textile: Journal of Cloth and Culture. She just recently completed a Full Fellowship at the Vermont Studio Center Art Residency and is an alum of Sculpture Space, an international sculpture residency in Utica, NY.
