Faculty – Graphic Design
A Baltimore-based designer, artist, and musician, Bruce Willen is co-founder of the design studio Post Typography, whose design and illustration clients include U.S. Green Building Council, The New York Times, and WIRED. His work has been featured in national and international design books and publications including Taschen's Contemporary Graphic Design, Phaidon's Area 2, The Art of Modern Rock, and Ellen Lupton's D.I.Y.: Design It Yourself.
A 2002 graduate of MICA's Graphic Design program, Mr. Willen teaches courses in advanced typography and printmaking in the undergraduate and graduate Graphic Design programs, and has lectured at the Cooper Union, Minneapolis College of Art & Design, and Harvard University among others.
Mr. Willen's work has been recognized by PRINT Magazine's Regional Design Annual, the AIGA 365 National Design Awards, the American Advertising Federation, and The Society of News Design among others.
