Community Engagement Grant Details

The Office of Community Engagement and Office of Student Affairs are both committed to providing opportunities for MICA students that enrich learning and contribute to the greater good of the community. Jointly, these two offices offer grant funding for students seeking support for community-engaged projects and activities. While technically separate grants, these opportunities share the same application and deadline. Applying for the MICA Student Grant allows your project to be reviewed by each office. Projects may be awarded by a single office or multiple offices based on each office's particular eligibility requirements and available funds. Qualifications, amounts, and further information can be found below. Email any questions to grants@mica.edu.

Office Of Student Affairs

Community Service Funds (maximum award amount: $750)

The Student Affairs Community Service Fund is dedicated to providing funding for students engaged in service, volunteerism, community art, and service learning opportunities in the greater Baltimore region. This grant is primarily intended as a one-time resource for singular projects or as seed funding for larger projects.
