The office of the Dean for Academic Services, Cynthia Barth, oversees the areas of Enrollment Services, Academic Advising, International Affairs, Exhibitions, The Learning Resource Center and Writing Studio, Decker Library, Fabrication Studios, Instructional Advancement & Technology, and the Graduate Teaching Internship Program.
Additionally, the Dean for Academic Services administers departmental Capital Budget requests, academic technology planning, space planning, the Returning Undergraduate Competitive Scholarship process, travel grants for graduating seniors, the Mixed Media Speaker Series, the Dr. Richard Kalter Memorial Speaker Series, the Wm. O. Steinmetz '50 Design Fellowship, and annual Constitution Day events.
The Mixed Media Speaker Series funds hundreds of lectures, critiques, and artist visits each year which take place both in and out of the classroom. Use the calendar below as a reference to coordinate visits with other classes and departments.
