MICA Grants

MICA is committed to providing opportunities for members of the MICA community that enrich learning and contribute to the greater good of the community.

The Divisions of Student Affairs and Academic Services at MICA are proud to offer multiple grant opportunities for students, faculty, staff, and CAC members in need of support for projects and activities. These include:

  • Community Engagement Grant (OCE) (For students, faculty, staff, and CAC members)
  • Student Affairs Community Service Fund Grants (CSF) (For students only)
  • France-Merrick CAP Special Project Fund Grants (CAP) (For students only)

Various resources are dedicated to providing opportunities for members of the MICA community to engage locally, nationally, and abroad. While technically separate grants, these opportunities share similar applications and have the same deadlines. Grant qualifications, amounts, and further information can be found on each page; however, you are encouraged to contact any of the relevant offices if you have additional questions. The application forms must be completed online using your MICA Gmail account.  If you do not have a MICA gmail account please contact the help desk at 410-225-2201.

Preview, type, and save long questions beforehand to avoid possible technical errors. You will be able to copy and paste them on the electronic application.

For the 2011 - 2012 academic year, electronic applications, budgets, and applicable materials are due on or before each of the following dates:

  • For projects in Fall '11 and early Spring ‘12 Semester: Friday, October 21, 2011, 5:00PM

  • For projects in Spring '12 and early Summer ‘12 Semester: Friday, February 17, 2012, 5:00PM

  • For projects in Summer and early Fall'12: Wednesday, April 18, 2012, 5:00PM

Below is the list of all of the applicable materials that must be turned in by 5:00 PM on the grant deadline. The application must be completed online. The budget and all other forms must be emailed to grants@mica.edu.
